The Christian Service University of Ghana and PP Savani University in India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote academic ties between the two schools.

The agreement was struck following a familiarization tour to Christian Service University University College in Kumasi by a three-person team from PP Savani University.

The group was led by Mr. Komal Komar Shah, the West Africa Representative for PPSU. The tour's objectives were to give the delegation a chance to become familiar with the academic system and other university procedures and to look into the possibility of academic collaboration.

The President of Christian Service University College, Professor Samuel Kofi Afrane, along with the Registrar, Mr. A. K. Doku, and the Dean of Students, Ms. Nelly Dorborson, served as representatives of the institution's administration. The Students' Representative Council, which was in charge of establishing the MoU, was represented by Mr. Emmanuel Amegavi Sosu, the SRC President, and other executives.

The MoU states that the two universities will collaborate to hold joint lectures, symposia, international meetings, conferences, and seminars, as well as exchange students and staff.

Students from CSUC will also have the opportunity to take a one-month exchange program to India with complimentary lodging, meals, and industrial attachment.

According to Professor Afrane, who spoke on behalf of Christian Service University, the relationship between the Christian Service University of Ghana and PP Savani University represents a significant turning point in the growth of academics and information exchange between the two nations.

The opportunity for both institutions to collaborate will result in highly qualified graduates for both countries, according to Mr. Komal Komar Shah, who feels that Ghana is the best educational gateway to West Africa.
